In August, Wellbeing Health Education Organization handed over an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Vinschool. Beyond providing essential emergency medical equipment, the initiative also included AED operation guidance and basic first aid training, helping school staff enhance their awareness and skills in responding to emergency situations.

Equipping Schools with AEDs – Enhancing Emergency Response to Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Sudden cardiac arrest can occur at any age, including in school environments. In the event of cardiac arrest, early recognition, calling emergency medical services, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and promptly using an AED play crucial roles in improving the chances of survival.

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a medical device designed to analyze heart rhythms and guide users through delivering an electric shock when a shockable rhythm is detected.
