Wellbeing x ISB Viet Nam: Equipping Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

At ISB, cultivating a dynamic office environment always requires the absolute health and well-being of its staff. Understanding this, last week, the personnel at ISB Vietnam partnered with Wellbeing to organize an equipment handover and training session on the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

When a person experiences sudden cardiac arrest, every passing minute is a precious golden window to save their life. In such events, timely CPR first aid combined with the use of an AED within the first 3 minutes will increase the victim's chance of survival to 76%.

At the training session, Wellbeing's doctors not only detailed the mechanics of the AED but also guided ISB's team through hands-on practice:

• Practicing medically standardized chest compressions (CPR) on standard mannequins.

• Operating the automated external defibrillator (AED) accurately, safely, and confidently.

• Learning how to seamlessly coordinate CPR maneuvers with AED activation to optimize emergency effectiveness during the most critical moments.
